As a long term foster mother, Foster Village has been a critical piece of my ability to continually say yes to children in need of a safe space during their time in foster care. Most of the children who have entered my home have come suddenly and with little to nothing with them. Foster Village jumps in and provides the items I need quickly, in order to get through the initial days and the long term. Foster Village has also been a very important support for the children in my home who have been reunified with their families. They have provided cribs, car seats, strollers, diapers and clothes so that these moms and dads are set up for success as they receive their babies home. I can’t imagine our city without Foster Village and I am so grateful for all of the support they have continued to provide!
