I'm proud to have been a donor to the Parrot Posse for several years. They support established rescues all over the country and help other organizations that have to take in birds due to extreme hoarding/neglect cases. They have always been upfront is sharing the amount of donations raised and share the amount going out with invoices. Recently when funds were needed for legal defense, donors were told upfront what was needed so we could make the decision whether we wished to donate. This is by far the most transparent organization I have ever donated to.

I'm a little surprised by some of the other reviews here mentioning they are behind on filing taxes? They are a nonprofit organization that is required to file the 990 form annually. I went to the IRS website and was able to find all of their 990 returns through 2021 as expected.
