The Parrot Posse

I have been a member of The Parrot Posse since before it went to Facebook in 2012, and before it became a Registered Charity. I have donated cash and participated in many of its fundraisers. I have worked directly with the Board and the Boss to ensure accurate financial accounting. And I have seen the HUGE amount of work it takes to identify organizations that truly need help, figure out what they need, and spend the groups' funds in the most cost-efficient way possible. I have watched the leader of the Posse build relationships with vendors so as to get the best prices and their product donations when possible. All of this has benefited hundreds and hundreds of birds across the USA.

The Parrot Posse is a wonderful group the helps by providing food, toys and supplies to parrot rescues and assisting humane society and animal control when seizures occur due to hording and animal abuse situations in the US. The Parrot Posse operates with no overhead except filing the required paperwork and feed to maintain its 501c3 status and the board of directors are unpaid volunteers. Funds are all via donations from supporters.

This is the ONLY parrot charity dedicated to solely helping parrots in rescues around the United States. Despite the efforts of one person desperate to bring this organization down, we are still standing…Tall, and Posse Strong. Judith is a phenomenal leader and she works tirelessly to make sure the money donated is not wasted. She finds the best deals and the birds in need are the lucky recipients!

I’ve been a follower of the Posse since 2012. Great people doing great work. I’m happy to see money I’ve donated to them do such wonderful things to help birds in need.

I support The Parrot Posse because they are the first to respond to parrots in need. The Lahaina fire is a perfect example. Large cages, food, and toys went sent as fast as humanly possible. And thanks to great networking, many of these products were donated by the companies that make them. I'm proud to be a part of this group with my donations.

It has been three years since I last published a review for The Parrot Posse and as a Board Member, Donor and Volunteer I have watched the Posse go through thick and thin to carry out it’s Mission. In most recent times the Posse has participated in sending relief in the form of food, cages, perches and toys to victims of Hurricane Ian and the catastrophic fires in Maui,HI. Additionally, The Parrot Posse supports dozens of 501c3 nonprofit organizations as well as current Animal Control seizures and catastrophic events. Our focus is always on the welfare of companion birds across the United States.
We pride ourselves on compassion, transparency and dedication to our Mission of making the world a better place for our beloved feathered ones!!!
I would like to add that were it not for our caring and dedicated Members, it would not be possible to accomplish our goals. Our Members are our backbone and we are grateful for each and everyone of them!!!

They are a great group and helped my small rescue for years. They have always helped when I had a sudden influx of birds with cages, food , toy and even helped me purchase three brooders to help with sick or injured birds.

We are small nonprofit parrot sanctuary in SC. We cannot express enough gratitude for the donations of toys, pellets and nuts throughout the year. Parrot Posse and their donors do an amazing job and we are forever grateful.

I am with a parrot rescue in New Jersey called For The Love of Birds. We are a network of foster homes and adopt our birds out with their cages, toys and food. The Parrot Posse has been a blessing to our rescue. We have received so many needed supplies for our foster birds. They have provided us with thousands of dollars worth of large bird cages, 17.5 lb bags of pellets, bags of cookable bird food and boxes & boxes of toys for large, medium and small birds. They help us help birds in need.

I’ve watched this nonprofit since , to my shame a bird store I used to work out was seized due to neglect and abuse. It had been some time since I worked there ,about 7 years but I felt guilty and seeing them in action was a good outlet. I continue to support them even years later because they’ve helped so many. I just wish I could donate more! And the great thing about donations , we are constantly updated with receipts and news showing how the money was spent , they are that transparent. They are pretty great !

I have supported the Posse from the beginning and it just gets better and better. The most trusted and transparent organization I support.

The Parrot Posse does a superior job in thoroughly looking at each rescue and sanctuary it provides support to in making sure it is a real rescue or sanctuary and not a parrot flipper or hoarder hiding behind the name rescue. People donating to the Parrot Posse can be sure their donation goes to real parrots in real rescues and not some parrot flipper or hoarder or other undesirables.

Such a great help for so many rescues ! Providing much needed resources for so many rescues to continue their life saving work !

I've been a member of the Parrot Posse for some years now. I've donated both funds and auction items over the years. I've also been a volunteer at a parrot sanctuary in St. Paul, MN for about 12 years and the Posse has been sending food, toys, and supplies for as long as I can remember. I feel good about donating as I know the Posse gets the most bang for the donated buck in searching for sales, using points, etc. We are just one of the places that has received help from the Posse. It has ALWAYS been transparent in accounting for funds. It has benefitted countless birds in need.

I absolutely, positively stand with The Parrot Posse 100%! They’ve had my support from the beginning, they keep everyone posted about money going in and out. They are also quick to offer help any time they they know a bird is in need. I say “they” but I mean “we” because I am a proud member. Helping birds in need are the priority. I’d recommend that if anyone knows of birds in need, contact them. Lots of knowledge in this group. Good people, rest assured.

I so wish I knew about The Parrot Posse before the past several years as I would have donated to them vs private entities I knew little about.

Within hours of many emergency situations Judith Richmond Archer and other Posse volunteers are working on getting supplies out to places in need. Often these are private seizures of birds and must go to animal shelters not equipped with supplies for any birds. At the time of a seizure we don’t know exactly where supplies are going; but as soon as authorities make the seizures public every receipt and all of our donations are accounted for.

At some time or another many members have personally witnessed the horror of these situations and would prefer to prevent them; but often legally we can’t, so we do what we can to help the birds and to help those needing help caring for the birds.

I can’t thank the Posse Members, Judith and other volunteers who make this organization work and for other members for stepping up when the group is in need of funds to help birds in need.

I very much wish the absolute absurd, useless, ignorantly filed lawsuit by an angry New Jersey Resident who makes money OFF of birds vs purely helping birds in need didn’t take so much of Judith’s time, energy and resources, as who knows how many birds suffered purely because of this New Jersey bitter bird store owner and her incompetent attorney.

Their combined forces enrich rescue and seizure situations by providing food, toys, perches and other needs.

Hi, all you interested folks. I have been a Posse member for more than 25 years, since before it had an official name and logo. I am lucky in that I have never needed Posse support, but I have contributed more than I can calculate. The Posse donates food, cages, toys, and veterinary care to sanctuaries, rescues, and animal control offices across the US. By using sales, specials, gift cards, and rebates, plus developing strong relationships with vendors, the donations that come in to Posse coffers are approximately doubled in the value that goes out.

The donations are accounted for, the expenditures are posted, taxes are filed, 501c3 forms are kept up-to-date. The members of the Posse are kept “in the loop” on all financials. I have never regretted one penny I’ve donated, and I know that the amounts I have donated when added to the other donations have multiplied and helped many parrots in situations I would never had heard of.

The Parrot Posse does good work by aggregating many small donations, working with vendors for donations and discounts, and using promotions to help parrots in distress across the US.

When I was running my parrot rescue, the Parrot Posse graciously sen toys, skewers, food and most importantly, an oxygen concentrator for our birds ICU. Parrot Posse has helped many 501c3 re-homing facilities and AC facilities during large seizures of parrots, making sure the birds are provided with proper diet, toys and cages. Thank you for the assistance in caring for our birds as well as thousands of other birds in need!

I have been donating to the Parrot Posse for several years now. They help Parrot Rescues across the country with badly needed funds so they can save parrots rescued from sometimes horrible situations. Some of the worst situations they cope with are people that are hoarding parrots and they cannot care for them - the parrots are sometimes sick or dying and in horrible conditions. Of course not all surrenders are because of this but because people have situations that come up and cannot care for their bird any more, either from death or illness. Parrots can live as long as a human in many cases and over the course of a human's ownership, circumstances happen and they need to surrender their parrot. This causes huge demands on the financial resources of parrot rescue organizations. This is where the Parrot Posse comes in because they have a network of people across the country that can donate to their fundraising. The Parrot Posse then distributes funds and supplies to the rescues.

I have been a member of the Parrot Posse Facebook group for many years now. I totally support the work the non-profit does in supporting rescue organizations for parrots as well as providing support to local shelters when birds are seized from abusive or neglectful situations. Having earned the respect of many suppliers over the years, the Posse is able to stretch donated funds to get the most “band for the buck” in providing food, toys, and cages to organizations who are on the front lines in providing for the welfare of parrots.

I think everyone knows that there is a plethora of dogs and cats in shelters awaiting homes, but few realize the plight of parrots. Unlike dogs and cats, parrots can live many decades, often outliving their original “owner.” They also require a lot of attention. Many who are initially énamourés with having a parrot, find that the bird is too demanding, too noisy, too messy, or just too much. Those birds often end up in rescues (unfortunately some just end up relegated to a back room, garage, or closet—essentially putting a long-lived, highly intelligent creature in solitary confinement with little to no human interaction and usually no toys or puzzles in the cage.)

The Parrot Posse steps in to provide needed items when the rescues’ resources are challenged.

It is the most transparent and honest organization I have ever encountered. It’s founder spends untold hours searching for the best deal on supplies as well as donating various parrot-centric items she has collected over the years to help raise funds for Posse. She does this with NO financial compensation as do all others who help with the Posse’s fundraising, record keeping, etc. One hundred percent of funds raised to helping birds rather than paying anyone working for/with the organization. Details of what was donated, to whom, and at what cost are regularly shared on the Posse’s Facebook page.

This organization is the first one I donate to—often the only one. In recent, more frugal years, my financial donations have been smaller and less frequent than they were before, but I still find ways to help.

I have donate to this organization both in the form of money and items for auction. I believe in the work they do to help rescues to provide for the parrots that come to them. There are so birds that have benefited from the good things that The Parrot Posse has done. When a large intake of parrots happen there are cages, toys and food that are sent quickly to help out the rescue that might otherwise be very overwhelmed.

Iowa Parrot Rescue has received tens of thousands of dollars worth of donated food and supplies from the Posse, and has been a beneficiary of their generosity ever since their founding. Their accounting is accurate and transparent, and their operation is ethical. Negative reviews are counterfactual, and are coming out of a personal conflict that has nothing to do with the Posse's operations.

Have been a proud member of the Posse for several years. Amazing work improving the lives of often neglected and abused parrots who end up in shelter situations. Absolute transparency, real, immediate help when needed. Can’t find a better way to help.

I’m proud to have donated to Parrot Posse. I live in GA and the Posse helps several local parrot rescues that I also donate to. PP does great work helping support and supply parrot rescues across the country. Unlike dog and cat rescues/shelters, pet parrot rescues/sanctuaries don’t get much press/PR and so can lag in public support. Parrot Posse helps by giving food and supplies where it’s needed most, especially for rescues that are struggling to support sudden intakes of large numbers of birds from hoarding situations or other types of seizures. Parrot Posse’s help can be critical in these situations.

The Posse helps with parrots and birds that have been rescued from abusive conditions all over the country. A few years ago, we had a large seizure of birds here on LI from a 'rescue' that had over a 1,000 birds kept in filthy trailers and sheds. The local ASPCA seized the bird and the Posse donated food, toys and cages for the care of the birds. I will be forever grateful to the posse for the help they gave to the birds of Huntington, NY. I have donated to the Posse over the years because this organization truly cares and I know exactly where my donation will land.

As a member and donor of this group, the leaders of this organization are totally transparent . They post what each auction or event raised, what the donations purchased and who they went to. They work hard to help with most needy if rescues and sanctuaries.. it is not The posse’s fault they were dragged into a frivolous lawsuit by an ex group member where they had to defend them selves. The posse is an amazing group of women who give to help those in need and Im proud to help when i can.

Amazing band of people who go above and beyond, getting help to the birds that need it at no personal gain to themselves other than the satisfaction of knowing they've made a difference. The world needs more people like this!

The Parrot Posse is a wonderful charity that supports many bird rescues in need. They have a great rapport with many vendors and are able to provide Food, Cages, Treats, Toys etc. They are very transparent in the moneys that are spent. They post every invoice for proof of what was ordered and who it is going to. A lot of the rescues depend on this charity to survive in this day and age. Any negative reviews there are that are posted are individuals that have been recruited by a business owner and are not true accusations. Parrot Posse can be contacted to answer any questions. But they post everything and negative reviews are from jealousy.

I have followed Parrot Posse for many years and have seen the the work they do. They don’t just throw money at anyone who asks but offer support to animal control and rescues in large rescue/hoarding situations as well as ongoing support for many reputable rescues. I have always found them to be transparent in their actions and willing to answer questions when asked.

I am comfortable donating to them knowing my dollars will be well spent!

I have been a member of The Parrot Posse for several years. They do excellent work supporting reputable parrot rescues all across the lower 48 USA states. They are scrupulously honest, and transparent about how the funds we, the members raise, is spent to help birds in need.
I’m proud to be a part of this caring group of people, who are dedicated to improving the lives of parrots in need. A mention on the negative reviews recently posted about The Parrot Posse, they are a few people with a petty grudge, who should find something more constructive to do with their time, like supporting good rescues, as the Posse does, rather than trying to run down a wonderful organization.

I'm proud to have been a donor to the Parrot Posse for several years. They support established rescues all over the country and help other organizations that have to take in birds due to extreme hoarding/neglect cases. They have always been upfront is sharing the amount of donations raised and share the amount going out with invoices. Recently when funds were needed for legal defense, donors were told upfront what was needed so we could make the decision whether we wished to donate. This is by far the most transparent organization I have ever donated to.

I'm a little surprised by some of the other reviews here mentioning they are behind on filing taxes? They are a nonprofit organization that is required to file the 990 form annually. I went to the IRS website and was able to find all of their 990 returns through 2021 as expected.

I’m excited to be a new monthly donor. These individuals care so much and give so much to take care of the parrots!!

In cases of hoarding or natural disasters, everyone pitches in to help dogs and cats, parrots are often forgotten.
The Parrot Posse is there to send food and supplies to help parrots in those situations and also to reputable parrot rescues. All donations are accounted for with full transparency.

While I am fortunate enough to not have had to be a recipient of the immense generosity of TheParrotPosse I know those who have.
Their work benefits birds all over. Birds taken from horrendous environments (feces filled cages, no food/water, rodent and insect infestations and worse).
Birds that ended up in rescues/shelters, or that were in bad situations due to natural disaster (wildfire, flood, hurricane).
The Posse members give generously in many ways including straight donation, opportunity drawings, purchases from vendors who "pay it forward".
The Posse uses 100% of the donated funds/materials for direct care to many birds all over the country.
I support TheParrotPosse 100%.

I said this years ago & I'll say it again. I have been a member of the Parrot Posse for years & NO organization does what they do, by continuing to support regular non-profit parrot rescues with supplies for their residents to assisting with seizures that occur nationwide when exotic birds are involved by providing cages, food & enrichment to the animal control facilities that are waiting for disposition &/or court cases, some which continue over a long period of time. NO OTHER GROUP DOES THIS. The Parrot Posse is unique, non-profit & accounts for every penny spent towards a common goal: enriching the lives of all captive birds, big or small, no matter the situation. ❤️

The Parrot Posse is the best. Not only are they available to help when an actual rescue occurs, but also supports Parrot welfare groups throughout the year with food, treats, and toys. Funds are well managed and clearly accountable.

The Parrot Posse is a phenomenal organization that helps rescues/re-homes every step of the way. For emergencies seizures the Posse provides appropriate housing, enrichment and nourishment to aid these parrots in transition.

The Posse has helped Companion Parrots Re-homed throughout the years by supplying nuts and other nourishment and a vast amount of parrot toys and paraphernalia for the birds. Every time we receive a package it is like Christmas and I get to play Santa!

The Posse has helped countless numbers of rescues during times of distress and in normal times and I'm always in awe of their ability to find the right things and get them there....

I myself am grateful to have have received help from them a few times. One such notable time was for my large flock of birds that largely are unhandleable after a devastating health issue that sent me to the hospital for 10 days and changed my life. They sent food so we didn't have to worry about feeding them during my recovery and trying to sort out the hospital bill.

More recently I was contacted by a friend who has been displaced by a fire and her two birds wound up here as fosters. They will be going back, but nothing came with them (cages/toys/ perches food anything) Their home was a total loss. When I contacted The Posse they didn't hesitate to say "yes" to a simple request of a few toys! I'm so thankful that again they've helped.

I'm always in awe of the great work they do.

I have been with the Posse since the beginning when we rescued a blind bird from a bad situation. It provides a way for many of us to combine our small donations to help more birds in a totally transparent way. Every penny accounted for and every penny spent for the birds. I do not know of any other group like it. It sets the example and provides a way to make a true difference.

They listen to what organizations need for the birds in their care, and then help by providing it. Over the years, the Parrot Posse has donated THOUSANDS of pounds of nutritious parrot food, toys, enrichment items and aviary supplies to Noah's Ark Animal Rehabilitation Center & Sanctuary, Inc. in Locust Grove, GA. Providing a top of the line forever home for our 300+ rescued parrots means offering them a variety of premium foods ($$$) and plenty of opportunities to interact with their environment through enrichment. WITHOUT THE SUPPORT OF THE PARROT POSSE, WE COULD NOT RESCUE AND PROVIDE OUTSTANDING CARE FOR THE VOLUME OF PARROTS THAT WE DO. Furthermore, the Parrot Posse is impeccable with their finances. Operating a nonprofit myself, I know the careful, constant effort that is required to maintain squeaky clean financials and how important this is for long term success. The Parrot Posse's financials are more transparent than any nonprofit I know of, which is why I personally donate to them as well! They are truly a champion for the thousands of parrots rescued from abuse and neglect in this country.

I have been a non profit in the past and many times was the recipient of help from this organization. They are an amazing group of people that truly care. Cages, toys, food, everyone is always ready to jump in and help! I highly recommend this organization!

We are a nonprofit here in Bend Oregon, Second Chance Bird Rescue, West Coast Div. The Parrot Posse has help us out many times these past two years, which has kept us open to do what we do. Help exotic birds that are surrendered for one reason or another. To help the ones that we can find new forever homes or keep the ones here that are unadoptable. They are here to help others and without their help a lot of birds would have gone without new cages and food to feed them. They are here to help the birds found in hoarder situations too.

I am an old suspicious tough spinster. The Parrot Posse is the only non-profit I have donated to on a regular basis throughout the last seven years because they are serious, calm and efficient in any circumstances. This group is truly reliable.

Judith and the rest of the Posse do so so much, too help so many birds! No way to thank them for the hours of work they spend helping birds all over the country!

The Parrot Posse does great things to help birds that have been in bad situations. They do great things for other rescues that help these birds. They have and still so help the rescue I volunteer at and we appreciate everything they do to help. Without the Posse these birds would not have a chance, because most rescues could not afford to help all these poor birds.
It is sad what some of them have to go though but with the Posse's help they have a better life. The Posse works very hard to raise money to be able to help with all this. They help provide food, toys, cages, and whatever else they can.

This organization is unique in that it raises money to donate supplies and food to rescues, and birds involved in seizures. They always keep it interesting by doing fun auctions, for members, to raise money, in between regular donations. I think we are all addicted to these auctions!!!! The Parrot Posse is always the first to enquire about what is needed, after parrots have been seized. Amazing!

Without Judith Richmond Arther's advice more than 25+ years ago, I would never have been able to rehab my very first harlequin macaw. Such a traumatized bird, removed from a horrible hoarder home. Judith gave me the advice and more importantly, the confidence to manage a very difficult bird. I still have Jack, the harlequin macaw and we muddle through life. She's pretty funny and hysterical. She ad libs comments to conversations that are relevant and on topic. But Judith was our first saving grace, telling me I could do it, even though Jack was my first bird. I guess I'm the testament at how great Judith is at teaching others, because here we are 25+ years later and Jack has her forever home. Without Judith's advice, I might have given up!.

The Parrot Posse does great work helping birds in need, whether these birds are in rescues or have been seized by authorities. The Parrot Posse helps in many ways by donating food, nuts, toys and cages as needed. They provide invaluable help to those they serve.

This is one of my favorite non-profits. They not only help existing bird rescues but help whenever and wherever there is a disaster or a animal seizure involving bids. Many times those agencies doing the seizures are not prepared for birds, the Parrot Posse helps with cages/food and toys - whatever the rescuing agency needs. Love being able to help through them

I love knowing that although I cannot afford to donate the million dollars I would like to, I can sew items to be auctioned off to raise funds. The Parrot Posse is completely up-front about where the money is spent, and it makes my heart very happy to know that I can join forces with this wonderful group to help out wherever help is needed.

Our organizations has been the beneficiary of the care and love shared by the Parrot Posse on a number of occasions.
Working in rescue is a daily struggle of making the pennies count, having a group like the posse that sends out toys, food and other needed items is a blessing, beyond blessings.
They show daily how you can take a lot of caring people who each contribute a little and pool it all together and can make a world of difference in the lives of others.
I just don't know that I even have enough words to express my continued gratitude for all they have done for not just the flock here at Soft Landings Parrot Rescue, but flocks all over the country.

The Parrot Posse has been not only supportive of, but has been the backbone of our parrot rescue, Macaw and Cockatoo Rescue of New Mexico, for many years. From sending toys, nuts, food, cages, and lifesaving medical equipment to helping pay for testing, treatment and surgeries for our rescued parrots, this group of dedicated volunteers and donors has contributed to saving the lives of hundreds of parrots with each and every donation that goes out. I could not even begin to total the astonishing number of parrots nation wide who have benefited in some way through this critically valuable nonprofit. I am amazed and humbled by how many volunteers and donors have joined the ranks, and continue to support the posse and our deserving foster birds year after year. This group is the real deal and every single dollar is used for the benefit of the birds with complete transparency of where dollars are spent. With so much responsibility already involved in caring for homeless pet birds, the posse takes on the burden of fundraising when it is needed most, freeing up time and energy for our staff to do what we do best - rescue, vet, rehab, and place these deserving and often misunderstood companion animals. Thank you Posse. We are forever humbly grateful to each and every one of your volunteers and donors. Thank you for showing up time and time again to prove that we are not in this alone. Great organization. It all started years ago with a few friends pooling their money together to help birds in need. It just keeps getting bigger and better. In just the last few years The Parrot Posse has donated hundreds of thousands of dollars in supplies and food to parrots in need, be it seizures, natural disasters, or just good rescues needing a helping hand here and there.

100% of donations go to the birds. It doesn't get any better than that!

This is the only charity I’ve ever donated to that actually accounts to the public for every dime they take in and where every dime is spent. They always post receipts and accountings. Whenever there is an emergency,which there have been many, The Parrot Posse is always there immediately to help the darling birds with anything they need from food to cages to toys and whatever they need to heal from their horrible ordeals. I can’t say enough about this group. And they can stretch a buck like no one else. I’d hate to think of what would have happened to all of the birds if the Posse hadn’t intervened. They help the often forgotten but the most needy animals, parrots.

This is an absolutely amazing group of compassionate parrot lovers. They are always at the front line to help birds in need. They have donated to countless parrot rescues, seizure cases and provided generous necessities for abused, neglected and rescued parrots. The Parrot Posse is AMAZING!!! They are always on the needs of the Avian community. Help resucues, santuary, and abuse cases alike. I have never seen anything like them! I do not know where many of the rescues in world be without this group of hard working people and supporters. There are alot of happy healthier parrots because of the sacrifice and work of this group.

I don't know of any other nonprofit that meets the standards The Parrot Posse meets. The Posse is a caring community of parrot lovers, many of whom have been friends for years, who together rise to the occasion whenever there are parrots in need.
None of the money given to The Parrot Posse goes to the organization's directors or president or staff. Everyone working for the Posse donates their time, and all donations go to buy food and toys and cages and vet care for birds in need. They partner with parrot supply companies to stretch every dollar as far as it will go.

Parrot Posse and all it’s wonderful members around the world DO MAKE A DIFFERENCE in the lives of birds. It’s the only group I donate to for birds because I know where every penny goes – TO THE BIRDS in need. We get to follow stories of the birds that are helped, see them recover, learn to play and start to live again. There’s nothing better than that!

This group is unbelievable in what it does for the bird community. Always there helping with food, cages and toys when there is a rescue. You know where all the donated items and monies are at all times.

This is my absolute favorite charity. Parrot rescue and rehab is the cause I care most about. Dogs and cats have thousands of organizations throughout the US to advocate for them. Parrots don't have this degree of advocacy even though they live longer and turn over from home to home, several times on average, in their long lives. The Parrot Posse combines the power of a handful of very dedicated volunteer leaders, a few thousand supporters who help donate and fundraise, and a network of caring and committed retailers, manufacturers, and other partners who provide steep discounts on parrot cages, food, toys, other supplies, and vet care. Together, we have buying power worth about 3x greater than paying full retail and we use this to provide support and supplies for thousands of parrots who were abused, neglected, homeless, are in rescues, or are otherwise in need!

I’m confident giving my money donations to the Parrot Posse. Parrot Posse is totally transparent with donations showing where every dollar is spent. Posse works with certain businesses that allow the Posse to stretch each dollar given as much as double and triple at times. Posse comes to the aid in times of disaster, during the hurricanes last year they partnered with a birdfood business to deliver and route bird food to those in need! I've been a member of the Posse for a few years, and we as a group accomplish amazing things. EVERY cent donated from online auctions and fundraisers for birds is accounted for, and the donors/recipients/items/winning amounts are always published. There are NO administrative costs - all of the work for donations and bookkeeping (lots) is done voluntarily. Any recipient of food, vet bill coverage, toys, etc., is thoroughly vetted and most also post photos of their birds enjoying whatever is sent to them.
