If I had my life to do over, I'd go to law school and then fight to save wolves. Or wolverines. Or some obscure wild orchid. Or fish. I didn't know 50 years ago that that was even a thing. Fortunately there is this whole organization that does just that: lawyers and scientists united to save endangered species. And they win! In doing that, they are saving the ecosystem and our own quality of life. I am proud to support them.

I've donated myself, and I've asked my son to donate as my Mother's Day gift. I can't think of a more appropriate gesture on Mother's Day than to help a woman who is suffering from obstetric fistula. The work this organization does is life changing, not to say lifesaving, for these injured women.
