The Bob Woodruff Foundation generously contributed five thousand dollars to our IVF costs and help make having a child via IVF a possibility for us after struggling for years with infertility. Even though my husband is a 100% combat disabled veteran, the VA would not cover any of the cost/treatment of IVF. Applying for the financial gift from the foundation was incredibly easy and quick and they paid the facility where we received treatment directly. I was also impressed how quickly the Bob Woodruff Foundation followed up with me after I reached out to them asking about assistance with IVF. I found out about the Bod Woodruff Foundation through an internet search looking for financial assistance with IVF. I sent them an email asking if we may qualify for help. Within 5-10 minutes on a Friday afternoon/evening I received a response via email inquiring if I could chat on the phone for a few minutes that very day/afternoon. A few minutes later I connected with Ann Philomena from the foundation and she asked a few questions and determined that we did in fact qualify. We sent her a few forms/information and...that was that. It was literally was a 20 minute process and we were gifted 5 thousand dollars! It was (and still is) kind of unbelievable. We are forever grateful for the existence and generosity of this foundation. Also, we are very thankful for just how easy they made the process of qualifying for and receiving the gift.
