The goats that get to stay at GOA are extremely well taken care of. They are also loved by the staff and volunteers that spend time with them. I am an every-other-Saturday volunteer and spend a couple hours cleaning stalls, refilling water buckets, placing new bedding and raking yards. These animals get a fresh stall every night. We were down a few volunteers last week and still got it all done. Everyone worked a little harder - for the sake of our goats. That's how this place works.
