Through their rescue mission and active posting on social media, the amount of knowledge Rickies Parrot Rescue shares on avian husbandry has been incredibly helpful to me as a bird owner who has a variety of species.
They really do care and make sure all the birds rescued are taken care of with proper medical attention and proper nutrition - sharing their experiences with the public and never expecting anything in return. Rehabilitating those who can be, and ensuring those who cannot still have fulfilling and healthy lives is among the highest of honorable callings. Educational articles are a huge part of what they publish, and we are the better for it.
