My husband already had a Brussels Griffon when we met and I instantly fell in love with him, and eventually my husband too. I stumbled upon the NBGR page on Facebook about four years after meeting my first griff and saw Gracie’s toothy grin on an adoption post. I immediately fell in love again and told my husband I had to have her. She was being fostered right outside of Austin, where we were living at the time, so it just seemed like it was meant to be. I applied to adopt her and we were chosen to go through the adoption process. We interviewed in person, then they brought Gracie to meet us and our other griff and to check if our home and yard was a good situation for her. A few days later they let us know that they chose us to adopt her. So we drove a little ways out of town to the foster home and picked her up. She laid in my lap all the way home and since that day she has been my Velcro dog.
