We lost our first Griff to cancer in 2016 and were brokenhearted. We thought the best way to honor our baby was to find another Griff and give all that love to them. I found NBGR on Facebook and filled out an application for adoption. From the first contact, I was so impressed! This was my first time to work with a rescue and the two ladies I worked with were two of the most caring and compassionate people! They made sure Dolly was a good fit for us and us for her. We still had a male Griff at home and when one of the ladies came for our home visit, she said meeting him, and seeing how laid back and easy going he was, let her know Dolly would be a good fit. When she brought Dolly to our house, she had me bring our other Griff, Digger, outside so they could meet and interact for a little while before bringing her in the house. That was 6 years ago and Dolly is 14 years old now and still going strong! We are forever grateful to NBGR and they will always be family!
