I can't say enough positive words about this program to do it justice. I'm one of the many lives it has helped save. I did 5yrs in 1C The Dog Dorm at the Lockhart Correctional Unit. This program not only gives the ladies a skill to use for work upon release. It gives the Death Row Pups a chance at parole and a forever family. The program also gives us ladies a purpose to wake up every morning and continue living in a very deep dark place in our life. The dogs unconditional love sparks a light and begins the healing process for the ladies to be able to overcome there past. An as they move through the program with there dog you see a new woman and a very happy dog begin to blossom. It also gave me the true link in my life that keeps me together, DAKOTA JAKE!!!!
