I was in the middle of an eviction when I applied at the coalition. The case worker reached out quickly and contacted my landlord. She reassured the landlord that they would be making a payment within a couple of days and my landlord allowed me to stay in our home while waiting on the payment. She kept my landlord up to date so he would feel comfortable with the process. I am a single mother of 3 and I have absolutely no help. I suffer from MST in Iraq and am 100% disabled because of the trauma I endured. I was hysterical knowing I would be out on the road with my kids. This organization came to my rescue and acted quick. I am forever grateful and I know one day I will donate to them so I can help pay it forward.
