Review for PUSH for Empowered Pregnancy, Katonah, NY, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I am the grandmother of Aurora, a full term baby girl born still in October of 2020 after a normal healthy pregnancy. Prior to my granddaughter's death I thought stillbirth was something that happened back in the day. I now know that it happens 65 times a day, every single single day, all across the US.
Many stillbirths are preventable, especially late term losses. I believe my granddaughter was one of them. Through a variety of platforms PUSH For Empowered Pregnancy has taken the lead in breaking the deadly silence surrounding stillbirth. They are correcting commonly held misbeliefs such as babies slow down at the end of pregnancy. They are pushing for legislation and standard of care changes that will educate and empower pregnant people, their families and providers so that more families leave the hospital with their baby instead of a memory box and a lifetime of grief and what ifs. There mission to end preventable stillbirth is something that will have a lasting impact for generations to come. I am so very grateful for the work they are doing.
