PUSH for Empowered Pregnancy is a profound non-profit with hardworking volunteers all across the United States working endlessly advocating for the prevention of stillbirths. The people working here are so inspiring and hardworking, that I myself have found myself matching that passion and working hard to publicize the re-education of protocols to my community on such an under valued topic. I am so grateful to do my part in this organization for such an amazing cause.

PUSH is attempting to fill a huge void in the treatment of pregnant people in America. The mission is specifically to lower preventable stillbirth and this by necessity includes standing up for the rights of all pregnant people, trying to reduce their mortality as well as that of their babies. It is absolutely personal to me as I lost my first daughter, Marian, to a preventable stillbirth. I recommend this organization to anyone who has lost a baby, who has a friend or family member who lost a baby, and to anyone who has not lost a baby and wants to keep it that way!

Push Pregnancy is an amazing organization striving to end preventable stillbirth. It is unacceptable that in this day there are still over 24,000 stillbirths every year. The incredible work being done will provide lasting change in perinatal care. Being a loss mom myself they have empowered me to take action and prevent this unthinkable tragedy from happening to another family.

As the Co-Director of Awareness I feel honored to work tirelessly alongside fellow loss families to re-educate the public and the medical community on safe pregnancy protocols to help prevent stillbirths. Unfortunately the misinformation that allowed our son Owen to die in 2015 is still circulating today, so we aren’t taking our time dealing with this crisis. We are constantly pushing for change through bold awareness campaigns, regular discussions on multiple social media platforms with families and birth workers, developing Rainbow Clinics to provide compassionate and thorough care for loss parents, and so much more! I am thankful to have an outlet for my grief where I can direct all my anger at our broken system and channel it into pushing for change to help other families bring their babies home safely in memory of all our babies. Owen #stillcounts & so do the 23,000 or more babies a year that are stillborn. We won’t stop fighting to end this crisis and are grateful for all the support we have received from families, policy makers, and the medical community alike because this is an issue that affects the whole country and it will take all of us to solve it. Join us!

PUSH is a remarkable organization that is taking on health care while challenging modern medicine and practices all while changing the world in regard preventable stillbirths amongst women. PUSH is opening the discussion on what could be done as well as signs women should be noting during the pregnancy to prevent stillbirths. As someone who has witnessed their mother go through two miscarriages and had to handle the losses of two babies all while coping with her mental and physical health, I can proudly say PUSH is fighting for real change and the outcome is going to change history and leave an impact in health care.

After having a full-term stillbirth, I found that in my subsequent pregnancy I had to advocate for myself and my baby for additional testing and monitoring, and I didn't know where to start. The founders of this organization helped and supported me through that stressful and anxiety-filled process. Pushing for my needs helped the doctors identify a potential issue that otherwise would have been missed, and my baby was born healthy and alive.

This group has been so important in my healing journey as a loss mom. The work this team is doing to end stillbirth is obviously a cause near and dear to my heart. The information they are sharing is really helping end this problem that doesn't get enough attention. There are so many causes they are involved in and so many people they are caring for. I'm beyond grateful for finding this group and their compassion.

PUSH is a phenomenal non-profit committed to ending preventable stillbirths. What I love about the organization is that it is led by fellow loss mothers that personally know the generational effects of stillbirth of families and society at large. They are unique in their singular commitment to end this painful legacy in the United States and ultimately the world. No parent should know the pain of preventable stillbirth. 24K babies lost every year in the US is too many for a developed nation and I’m grateful for the work PUSH is doing.

Push is working hard to reduce preventable stillbirth! I am so motivated by these mothers who have turned their grief into action to get the word out about stillbirth prevention, to fight against the oft repeated lie that "sometimes these things just happen".
