I was looking for a way to make an impact and I started knitting with Knots of Love about a year ago because the organization’s mission is so worthwhile. KOL is very clear with guidelines for yarn and patterns and has a great selection of free patterns so knitters and crocheters can get started. I LOVE the fact that with every package of hats I send, I receive a phone call or email passing on information about where my creations will be going! KOL does a great job sharing back letters of thanks, etc. so that I can feel and see the impact my volunteer work has.
