I adopted my dog, Larry, a couple of years ago. The folks at the Rescue Ranch were super helpful and accommodating, even bringing Larry to meet my friend's dog off-site at one point to make sure they'd get along fine. Everyone who works there cares greatly for all the dogs, and they do so much good for the community here. Everyone should adopt a dog!

I first met Natalia and Alex a few years ago, when I stepped in to help with a presentation when someone else came down sick. I have since gotten to know them and have found that there is nobody with more passion about avalanche safety and education than these two. Through the Nickolay Dodov Foundation they have brought avalanche education to more people, specifically young people, than anyone else out there. Their passion for avalanche safety is infectious, and it's always so rewarding to see young people get excited about getting out into the mountains, and doing so safely. And that's the biggest thing about the NDF. They'll never tell anyone they shouldn't go out and play, they just want to ensure that everyone has a chance to do so safely.
