Review for The Jonah Project, El Segundo, CA, USA

I have lived homeless on Skid Row and in the city of LA for short periods of time, the longest being a month. I remember that, while I was on the streets, I longed for services such as the Jonah Project provides. There is no peace on the streets, and there isn't anywhere where you can let your guard down and just rest. From my own personal experience, I can be confident that the Jonah Project provides many of the essential, unmet needs on Skid Row. I thoroughly enjoy volunteering my time in light of this knowledge.

seeing people come off of the streets and change their lives.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

expand onto the other floors and the roof.

Role:  Volunteer & I hung out with the people and played music with them, as well as served coffee.
