Sean at SFCR helped me personally when I had 3 cats that were on the list to go to Animal Friends, which is a no- kill shelter so of course it takes time to get in there. One also had breathing problems. Sean set up a series of cat tents so he could pump nebulized air into the tents for the one cat. Then the other two had a room with a TV and lots of things to climb on. I couldnt hold them as I was going away for the winter. Thanks to SFCR those three cats eventually got into the no-kill shelter! On a wider scale, Sean has made SFCR into the most progressive foster based rescue in the county; the number of foster homes have doubled, there are weekly fund raisers, there is a Pet Food Pantry, monthly spay and neuter clinics, a dedicated TNR program, and has 20+ cats that he cares for.
