Review for The Trevor Project, Inc., West Hollywood, CA, USA
The Trevor Project. I may be only a teen, but I know what honest help is. I know how to tell who is willing to help and who is going to blow you off. I am a gay male in the homophobic society of today, but there was one group, one organization, that allowed me to show who I truly am and to stand up for what I believe. Not only have I shown everyone that side of me that wasn't able to come out, but I also started standing up to people who didn't understand the different. I created a GSA support group in my school, thanks to the support of The Trevor Project. Not only did they help me with seeing that I am not alone, but they also helped dozens of kids about my school that it is okay to be them and to show it. The Trevor Project had made me realize that god isn't against us, but he is there for us...not to save us, but to help us save ourselves. He wanted a superior race, and he created the homosexual community to stand up and go against all of hating and discriminating humans. He created us to be strong and to be better...and The Trevor Project helped me see that...and now I am willing to fight. Willing to fight for what is true and what is right. Thank you so much to The Trevor Project!!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
many palces. My school, online, my friends, and even myself are examples of them.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
figth for rights rather than a simple expression that is a failure of english, "That's so gay." We have larger things we need to fight for, but every gay fighter fights to rid ourselves of that. I wouldn't.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
everyone that I have met and everyone that has helped. If it weren't for them, I might not have been here and that is the same for most of my friends. This organization has helped me in which I helped others.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
kind and sweet. Not only were they splendid to talk to, but they also knew what I was going through. They could help me through my problems, and they did.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
change the world. They would be able to get more support systems across America, possibly into other countries in need of them. They could allow everyone a chance to get help, rather than only us in America.
Ways to make it better...
they would have been able to give me advice on how to start the GSA and show everyone that I am who I am for a reason and that is the only thing they need to know, but in reality, they didn't straight up say it because they wanted me to learn on my own...
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
embarressment. I really thought that if I were to call or email then I would be embarrassed, but I was wrong. I was relieved to know that they would help me in every way they could.
One thing I'd also say is that...
The Trevor Project has helped a number of people. They help people across America and it isn't only that they help people, they also make them see what is true in the world. "If the world is so beautiful, why don't we see the true beauty around?"
