This organization is the nonprofit I have ever been involved with both as a volunteer, but also donating to. I started volunteering just prior to the start of the pandemic. While the pandemic was going on, they did everything they could to keep the volunteers involved and also educated while we were not able to be on campus. They offered online training and kept us up-to-date on things going on. Since being able to do in person work there, I love every shift. They make all volunteers feel very valued.

I also make monetary donations every month thru their adopt a dog program. I love receiving updates on the pups. Brings smiles to my face. We also donate during other times thru out the year.

You will not find a better organization to volunteer or donate to. I have been able to see first hand the difference they make in so many people’s lives whether it be as a volunteer, employee, or recipient of a dog.
