After retiring at the end of 2016, I decided to volunteer for Operation Kindness. It's one of the best decisions I've ever made. Operation Kindness offers many opportunities to support homeless dogs and cats. In the years I've volunteered I've been involved in youth tours, dog walking, helping a volunteer photographer with pictures of adoptable dogs for the shelter's website, fund raising events, and administrative support. Operation Kindness does a wonderful job supporting and acknowledging volunteers.
