Review for Cimarron Valley Humane Society, Cushing, OK, USA
Our dog, Snoopy, spent much of his first year of life tied to a tree. I believe it was a home of well-meaning people overwhelmed with way too many pets. With big snowfall expected, the people had enough sense to contact the local pound to surrender Snoopy and his little dog buddy. The pound, likely at capacity, realized the situation and contacted CVHS to immediately foster Snoopy and place him in the right home. I’m so thankful they did. He is such a good dog, our family has nicknamed him “The Best Boy in the Whole World!” He had many applicants by the time I saw his listing, so I’m grateful we were chosen. We had previously adopted another dog through the prison PAP training program and I believe she was initially vetted from the local pound by CVHS. I cannot stress how thoughtful the Cimarron workers are. They brought Snoopy to my home for a meet and greet. They inspected my yard to ensure safe fencing. They looked into my references. It was all a process in place for the safety of these neglected animals they love and value. He was chipped and neutered and well socialized when he came home to us. Thank you CVHS for saving these pets! Our community is a better place because of you. We LOVE our rescued babies!
