Review for WORLD FAMILY FOUNDATION, Ojai, CA, USA
I started sponsoring a kid from World Family Foundation (WFF) more than five years back. My aunty in Long Beach suggested that I should get engaged with WFF. Since I am originally from Puri, India area, I was very excited that an organization from here is helping the poor in my region. First I began sponsoring a little girl at Prashanti School residential children’s home in Puri, India, through the sponsorship program run by WFF. I visited India frequently and had a great time going to the school with my kids and enjoying the company of all the kids in Prashanti school including the girl was sponsoring. I know first-hand over the years that still there are people in my region who live in extreme poverty. I have seen many children still going hungry to bed and without a safe place to live. Those poor kids can't dream to get a proper education. I really wanted to make some difference in the life of at least one child. I thank World Family Foundation for giving me the platform and opportunity to offer real help. In the beginning, I liked the WFF program because every penny donated goes directly into projects for the children. They provide free food, housing, clothing, medical care, education, and daily tutoring to children. They provide opportunities to those helpless children who would not have gone anywhere to get help. That impresses me the most. WFF board member Elizabeth Burnett founded the school in India and is an amazing soul. Every time I visited the school in Puri, I met her and was so impressed by the high level of dedication, and the love she has for the kids. Now I am sponsoring another kid. It is a boy this time. The girl I was sponsoring before, graduated and left the school. I am so impressed with the organization that I also suggested a non-profit organization from San Jose, CA to donate more than $1000 to the school. I like the way the fund is handled. All monetary contributions through sponsorship and donation are treated as a sacred trust. My kids were part of the organization too and they try to help in whatever way they can. I would recommend all my friends to consider donating and sponsoring a kid from World Family Foundation. God bless the organization.
