My 11 year old daughter was recently diagnosed with epilepsy. A few days before Christmas she experienced a 6 minute grand mal seizure in her sleep. Within a few weeks the eeg results came back and the neurologist wanted us in his office immediately. Her eeg showed constant seizures. We were told she had a life long form of epilepsy. How do you let your daughter ever sleep alone again knowing she might not wake up? We heard about the Chelsea Hutchison Foundation. Only 1 week after applying for a night time monitor, it arrived at our house. A huge weight was lifted. My daughter has been sleeping in my bed ever since her diagnosis. No parent should ever have to worry about whether or not their child will still be alive in the morning. This organization has blessed me with a tool that will help me get back to living life and possibly save my daughter's life. I'm forever grateful!
