I There are many good shelters and animal sanctuaries in this world, thank god, and we could use so many more. But what makes Tomten Farm stand out from all the rest is the thoughtfulness with which they approach their goals, their overall mission and above all, the individual rescues they commit to. What they offer to the animals they rescue is more than just food and shelter; more than medical care and special needs; it’s individual respect and love for each animal according to their needs. That takes more thought and energy than is required to provide shelter alone.

All the staff and volunteers work so hard to provide safe and loving sanctuary for animals who are in so much need. It takes so much hard physical labor, money, endless hope and optimism to do what they do. I’m a small donor but I am so proud to be one. Every little bit helps and this organization deserves our support.
