I am so grateful to actor and others! They saved my 2 year old kitty, Leo's life! I am a student and could not afford the vet bill when Leo ate part of a sock that caused a complete bowel obstruction. I knew I couldn't afford a vet so I tried to let him pass the sock naturally, I waited for days, but he stopped eating and drinking, started vomiting blood, stopped moving and just sat huddled in a corner, clearly in agony, I took him to the vet and was told that we would need a $3000 surgery to save his life! I was desperate, and that's when I found Actors & Others for Animals, they got back to me right away and with their help I was able to get Leo into surgery that weekend! He made a complete recovery and is back to his wonderful old mischievous self! I have eliminated all socks from his reach and snuggle and play with him every single day, so grateful to still have him in my life!
