I retired after 29 years in law enforcement, and Charlie my K-9 partner of 6 years retired with me. I have been responsible for his care since my retirement. Most dept. do not provide any financial support once the handler and K-9 are retired. I am very grateful for the financial help I received last year and this year with his annual vet app. It is so comforting to know that people care about what happens to these wonderful working dogs that give 100 % doing their job. Retired Police Foundation is a wonderful organization, they are very helpful and professional , they have a big heart for helping the retired police K-9 enjoy retirement. Thank you again for every thing you do.
