I have learned from, worked with, and marveled at Pam Leo's tenacious commitment to serving families for two decades. Her early work in prisons, teaching parents insightful ways to "connect" with their children, led to the creation of the beloved classic, Connection Parenting. Her work with incarcerated parents also revealed a path to bonding: family literacy. Pam discovered first hand the high rate of illiteracy in at-risk families and the communities she served, and this insight led to her creation of the Book Fairy Pantry Project. After two decades, she is just getting started! I am humbled and energized by her dedication to family wellness and family literacy.
