I am a volunteer for GLWR and I could not be happier to be part of their team. This rescue prevents weimaraner dogs from being sent to shelters by offering owners that need to relinquish their Weim bright futures for these dogs. GLWR has a network of fosters with breed experience to help these dogs transition into new homes and families. The foster and adoption coordinators work closely together together to match the best home for dogs under the care of the rescue. Ever Weim kept out of a shelter leave room for another dog needing rehoming.

This group supports a sizable community including 5 primary states as well as parts of Canada. A great team supporting a wonderful breed of dogs and working endlessly to find that perfect family for every dog relinquished to the rescues care.
