I originally signed up to support my 14 year old niece who has been living with me since July 2020. Her passion is horses since she was toddler. Unable to afford a horse we decided we would volunteer. Since then she has not only volunteered but has taken several courses and riding lessons, I believe has been extremely important to her emotional and mental wellbeing. She has been able to groom horses for events and work with the baby horses.

I also have taken multiple classes through Zuma Rescue Ranch including a mentoring program and counseling.

Finding this rescue has been the best thing that could have happened. Everyone is always in a positive mood, friendly and helpful.
