I’m honored to have been a member of Assistance League® of the Eastside (ALE) for the last 4 years. I was drawn to this organization because their services are directly given to individuals and families right here in our community and throughout WA State. As an all-volunteer organization, nearly all of the money we fundraise goes into our philanthropic programs. With the need increasing every year, especially the last 18+ months, ALE found new and creative ways to not only fundraise but also effectively delivered essentials, in a safe and timely manner, with our heartfelt message of care and support to women, children and families in need. The strength of ALE is its volunteers and the volunteers are compassionate and driven to support the ALE programs that provide comfort and hope to those in the community experiencing hardship and trauma.
