I've had the privilege of working with PHA for many years now, as a volunteer, donor and community leader. They are by far one of the best run organizations of any kind with whom I have worked. Not only do they stay true to their mission, they have managed their growth in a measured and thoughtful way. One of their biggest strengths is knowing when to say no. Ensuring the quality of their intakes, and the completeness of their outflows, PHA has been able to sustain through location changes, the pandemic, and logistical challenges that have caused other places to fold. Their story should be a model for any organization looking to support the human services sector.
