After Hurricane Ida, we were without shelter, food, clothes or transportation. It was a devastating time, an all time low, for me and my children. After finding shelter and being fed, this wonderful organization, Sockin It, donated not only flip flops (we needed for the community showers) but SOCKS. You won’t know the comfort socks provide when you’re cold, uncomfortable and at your wits end. Something about these socks kept me calm and gave me a sense of peace at night when my mind was racing.
