This non profit organization is a true blessing to those in need, it provides an opportunity for donors to be a blessing to others. There is a true joy and reward in helping others. Just being a resident of the Gulf Coast I know firsthand how devastating natural disasters can be. My part for the last five years has been donating, giving is the best feeling, especially when it makes a difference in others lives. Lastly, I encourage everyone to consider becoming a part of this wonderful organization that can change the lives of others by donating and volunteering.
I recently had the opportunity to learn about Sock N It, a fantastic non-profit organization that is making a huge difference in the lives of people experiencing homelessness. Sock N It focuses on collecting and donating socks, which happen to be one of the most requested but least donated items for those in need.
What sets Sock N It apart is their dedication to addressing a specific need and doing so with compassion and efficiency. By recognizing the importance of clean and comfortable socks, they are providing a basic necessity that often goes overlooked. These simple items can have a significant impact on the comfort, health, and overall well-being of individuals who don't have a stable place to call home.
I was impressed with Sock N It's commitment to making a tangible difference in the communities they serve. Their efforts to collect and distribute socks to local shelters and homeless individuals are not only admirable but also vital. By focusing on this specific item, they ensure that their resources are used effectively and efficiently, maximizing their impact.
They are proving that even the smallest act of kindness, like donating a pair of socks, can have a profound effect on someone's life. Let's join hands and support Sock N It as they continue their incredible work in helping those in need.
Thank you! Thank you!
The BackToSchool Supplies for Grandparents Raising Grandkids had socks donated by Sock It! We really needed socks. Thank you.
My daughter came home from school one evening so determined to gather up as many socks as possible to take back to her elementary school the next day. When I asked why, she informed me she wanted to help the less fortunate and homeless stay warm and dry and that socks are the most asked for necessity by the homeless. I was extremely proud that she gained this desire to help others through her school’s initiative via “Sock N It”. I brought her to a retail store to purchase new socks for her heartfelt desire. The sparkle in my child eyes as she gripped her bag with socks, her excitement and energy on the next morning’s ride to school, is something I’ll never forget and always be grateful for. Sock N It helps so many less fortunate people and instills compassion and caring in our youth. I will always support this organization and plan on volunteering annually. Thank you, SOCK N IT, for remembering those who have needs and are most times forgotten.
Sock It is an amazing organization! They are very active in the community and their services touch people all around the world. Kudos to this Humanitarian organization that’s actually putting in the work!!

Sock It! is an amazing non profit that helps homeless individuals and people affected by nautical disasters such as hurricanes and wildfires. I had the opportunity to volunteer where we distributed socks and feminine products to people who are homeless. Please support this great organization because they are helping a lot of people!
Since their founding, the Sock’n It! team has distributed thousands of socks (and recently flip-flops) to sheltered and unsheltered men, women, children and veterans - people who most need socks. The awesome volunteers and supporters are greatly appreciated. God bless you!
I've been with this nonprofit for quite a while. Through them....I've been able to help the homeless an the less fortunate. Providing socks,Mylar blankets, feeding and tarps are just some of the things I've been able to do. Even though I'm out here in California ..they have proven over and over..distance is not a problem in getting socks to me to help the homeless. Thank you guys so very much.
As a philanthropist, Sock’n It! is an organization I believe in.

Our church has supported this organization since its founding. The team of volunteers is committed to inspiring hope in the midst of devastation and lost causing homelessness. We encourage others to support Sock'n It!
Living in a hurricane prone area in Louisiana, we overcome hurricane season yearly, but in most recent years, we’ve been hit HARD. I always wanted to give back in any way possible to my fellow storm survivors, especially in my hometown. I was so glad I came across Sock’in It, based in SW Louisiana (Jeanerette). I volunteered working with them and I can’t put into words the satisfying feeling I had at the end of each volunteer day. Their staff and other volunteers know how “reach” those in need and provide comfort with what you would think is a simple item, SOCKS. To see the smile and glimpse of hope on the sock recipients faces was enough for me. This is a WONDERFUL organization for adults, as well as children, to volunteer in and/or donate to.
After Hurricane Ida, we were without shelter, food, clothes or transportation. It was a devastating time, an all time low, for me and my children. After finding shelter and being fed, this wonderful organization, Sockin It, donated not only flip flops (we needed for the community showers) but SOCKS. You won’t know the comfort socks provide when you’re cold, uncomfortable and at your wits end. Something about these socks kept me calm and gave me a sense of peace at night when my mind was racing. Thank you a million times over, Sockin’ It. Much love, a grateful Mother
In August I donated and helped deliver socks and flip flops to individuals in dire need after Hurricane Ida’s devastation. To see a pair of socks bring a smile to someone’s face after losing their material possessions warmed my heart! Thank you Sock’n It!
It was an honor to work with Sock’n It! after Hurricane Ida’s devestation in South Louisiana. Shelters were grateful to recieve deliveries of socks and flipflops. Thank you to the great team at Sock’n It!
If you get the chance to volunteer or have the means to donate please do! Sock In It is one of the best organizations I have volunteer with! Keep doing a great job!!

Sock'n It! is an organization appreciated in so many ways. The organization is committed to caring for the least among us. The Covid pandemic and the unprecedented number of hurricanes to hit the gulf coast states has wrecked havoc on countless lives. Sock'n It! delivering socks and flip-flops received from faithful supporters who believe in the mission. Thank you!
This non-profit is doing great work in our community and around the world. I am a social worker and often refer people who are in need to this organization. They are very active in the neighborhood! Keep up the wonderful work!
This organization is so vital! It’s mission is to basically end homelessness. I volunteer and donate my time & resources to Sock n It! I recently donated to help all of the hurricane victims in Louisiana. God Bless America and God Bless this wonderful non-profit organization!
Sock It is an awesome non profit organization. Not only do they give back to the less fortunate but are teaching the next generation about serving others. Keep up the great work. You all are doing great work.
After surviving not one, but two, horrible hurricanes this season (2020), Sock’n It delivered us an essential commodity...clean, warm, dry socks. My children and I were displaced. You won’t know how much clean, warm socks mean to a mother with four children until you’re in a shelter, cold and in need. I can’t thank you all enough. I’ll always support and help this organization in any way I can. May God bless you all. ~ Lake Charles Hurricane Survivor 2020
It my duty to give. This organization have helped countless people, from all walks of life. Their mission is plain. To cover as many feet as they can. Who would not want to take part of such an awesome mission. My giving came through my business. So I didn't do it alone by far. Every client bought a bag of socks and flip flops of all size. For men, women, and children. Even babies. It brings joy to help others. I applaud the work of this organization.

The mission of "Sock It" is a mission that touch many lives. My friend introduced me to it about 3 years ago. I'm a salon owner, and my clients never fail to participate in whatever I ask them because they know it's a mission that I believe in. Together we connected many socks of different colors and sizes. From infants to adults. This organization profits others and I'm so glad they do. Love thy neighbor.
I'm a street volunteer distributing socks from Lake Charles to New Orleans. There is nothing to compare to the gratefulness of individuals experiencing being homeless when given the simple gift of a pair of socks. We meet homeless people where they are - "roughing it" on the streets, under bridges and overpasses, in abandoned vehicles which includes homeless veterans and homeless youth. Thank you for doing what you do. And a big "thank you" for all of the ziplock bags with sanitary products for homeless women. GOD bless Sock'n It!
Being an advocate for the homeless.. here in California...I often cook at home and drive to different locations,(streets, bridges, stores, to abandoned vehicles, etc,) and feed them. Along with their food. I also pass out socks. Wow, you would think they have struck gold!! They are so happy to recieve them. Men women and children!! So many of the adults have sores or blisters on their feet..an some feet are so swollen. The socks are extremely helpful to them. One little girl ask if can I give her grandmother a pair because she gave her only socks to her and her sister and could I please give her dad an extra pair...because he walks everyday to try to find work..and it's cold and his socks have so many holes. This kid was about 6yrs old. It brought me to tears. Another little girl was walking with her mom and when I handed the mom a plate of food...then the socks...the little girl..about 3yrs old...sat down right there on the the sidewalk...and immediately put the socks on. Thanks so much for Sock’n It! and their dedication too and usefulness. Sock’n It! really makes a differnce.
SOCK N IT has had an impact on me from the very start...prior to this
initial introduction, it never entered my mind that there are thousands
of homeless and other poor people who are SOCKLESS every day. For SOCK N IT to recognize this issue and step in by delivering new socks to the needy and to communities
hit by weather disasters (since Hurricane Katrina), has touched my heart...yes, I am a Sock N IT supporter that SOCK N IT can depend on.

As an educator, we appreciate the volunteer experiences Sock’n It! affords students. As a volunteer, delivering socks to women with children living in shelters was an amazing experience. To see the delight in someone’s eyes when given a pair of socks was truly heart warming. These are the people who truly need socks. I helped Sock’n It! bundle and tie hundreds of pairs of socks with a beautiful Christmas bow for women, children and men in shelters. I look forward to volunteering this year for the Christmas deliveries to shelters. GOD bless the mission of Sock’n It!
I was a student in 10th grade when I volunteered to count and sort socks to deliver to homeless youth in New Orleans. This was an experience that I will remember for a long time. Sock’n It! helped me to understand how important volunteering to help less fortunate individuals is very important. Thank you for the experience!
This is such a great non-profit organization. We partnered with this organization as one of our community service projects. I was a student volunteer and we collected socks in our town . It was a very humbling experience to learn about people who were less fortunate than I was. Likewise, it was empowering because I was able learn about this organization and see how my contribution made a difference. I was honored to be able to contribute to this organization and be able to give back to my community.
Great nonprofit organization that donates the most forgotten but most needed items. All done with love
I was a student volunteer with Sock’n It! After Hurricane Harvey we delivered hundreds of pairs of socks to a mega shelter near Alexandria, LA. The evacuees were very happy for the socks. I will always remember that experience. Thank you Sock’n It! I look forward to volunteering again.
SOCK'N IT is
valuable non-profit organization. In July2017 I was a Sock Ambassador and deliver socks to an all girls homeless shelter in Tuskegee Alabama. It was good to see the HAPPY smiling faces of the girls. 2018 and 2019 I deliver socks to single mothers with children. SICKEN IT is a BLESSINGS to All who received their socks. They are always ready and able to assist all who are in need. Let's honor Sock'n It for their service and dedication to serve all who are in need any where in the world. Thanks for the HAPPINESS and LOVE that they give. May it be shown back to them. Much Success and Prosperity and Blessings Always
Hi my name is Chantel. I had the opportunity to donate socks from Sock' n it. The socks were donated to the evacuees of the California fires. I'm sure they were very appreciative. Thanks so much Sock'n it for your help
I wish I could rate this organization 10 STARS! Sockin’ It attends to the basic but most important needs of individuals struck with catastrophes (hurricanes/flooding) and even those in an unfortunate season in life (the homeless). I have witnessed the heartfelt joy and gratitude of people blessed with socks/flip slips. Sockin’ It helps people take their first “comfortable” and “covered” step after life has had them stumble. One million THANK YOUs to this wonderful and most appreciated organization.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (Ten Stars)
This is a wonderful organization and very useful. Not only did they supply flip flops and socks to Carolinas and Bahamas but also deliver socks when the temperature drop. God bless this organization and everyone in support of it.
Sock' n It a nonprofit organization has helped the less fortunate people with socks and flip flops wherever needed. I have been helping distribute these items for a few years. I began purchasing various socks for all ages and taking them to the shelters in Los Angeles and Long Beach, California. Since then I have relocated to New Iberia. LA and continued to help by volunteering with Sock'n It to help people every where. I feel rewarded when I see the smiles and appreciation on their faces.
Just to let you know that Sock-It Nonprofit organization has been a blessing to many young children in the Houston and surrounding areas.
They have sent some to a mission's trip to Cuba, Mexico, New Mexico Indian Reservation. They were given to much needed situations. They have been a blessing and have come through each time when asked for the donations. I really appreciate how organized they are plus their helpfulness for fast service and again the children were happy. Their smiley faces is very rewarding.
We appreciate your hard work and considerate duty to the community. Thank you for pouring into the people
and acknowledging the necessary need there is. Socks something so insignificant but yet so important to many. We believe they are God sent. We thank all the people that have donated, the stores and all the individuals. Thank you very much for your donations and to make Sock-It Nonprofit organization a possibility to those who very much need this. God bless and thank you!
