I adopted a horse from BHHR 6 years ago. He has been my best friend and helped me through a lot of growing pains. I volunteered for years before moving and it taught me so much. Learning to take care of animals especially ones that come from hard pasts was as good for me as for them. They are so great and care so much for the animals. I will always credit them for helping me through tough times. We now live in the country and have many rescues
