I have been involved with Catholic Relief Services (CRS) in several ways for over 40
years.
CRS provides US Catolics with the opportunity to learn about our global sisters and
brothers through powerful stories of hope and they challenge us to make a difference.
The fact that they accomplish this in the context of prayer makes it even more special. CRS has helped to form me on my faith journey.
Originally, my engagement was through Rice Bowl and Fair Trade but the move to advocacy has been very empowering for me and others. I am now part of a local CRS Chapter and we works as a Team to create a more just world through action, community giving and advocacy.
I am grateful to CRS staff who continue to meet new needs in a changing world and who remind me that we are ONE church with local and global members and we are called to build God's Kingdom together.
