EH’s focus is on creating long lasting change in making a transplant last a lifetime and has made tremendous improvements in this space over its existence. The life of heart transplants has grown from an avg of 10yrs to ~14yrs! That means that the transplants last longer, more children are able to get a chance at life, and overall longer lifespan for each recepient.
