I have participated in this organization for several years now, donating and taking part in action alerts- making phone calls, sending emails, going to rallies, etc.
This is an excellent organization- they convey information about current issues in a way that's easy for the general public to understand, and that gets right to the heart of the matter. They are very professional and also willing to take on controversial issues, such as population growth. In fact, they are pretty much the only environmental nonprofit that seems willing to tackle population growth, arguably the most pressing issue of our time.
