Working with Bay Area Tutoring Association has been a very fulfilling endeavor. Every day I am proud to be a part of what BATA offers to the community by providing accessible, quality education, especially to the underprivileged. BATA also helps tutors improve their contribution to that effort, offering them opportunities to build experience for their own futures. BATA respects people: clients, students, tutors, and all who work with them. That is why it succeeds year after year for almost 10 years. I look forward to many more successful BATA programs.

I connected with Bay Area Tutoring Association (BATA) a few years ago and have been inspired and proud to work with them ever since. Chris Norwood is totally devoted to helping students, parents, and educators and has many innovative ways of implementing programs. In addition, he is committed to helping BATA tutors express the best part of themselves and develop their skills as tutors. BATA tutors are taught by BATA how to approach students holistically, not just help them with specific subjects. His philosophy permeates all aspects of the organization. No matter who I work with in the organization from administration to site directors to other tutors, I feel the same sense of concern and devotion to BATA clients. My thanks goes out to Bay Area Tutoring Association for allowing me the opportunity to work with them!
