I have adopted 2 dogs from Chain of Hope. Both adoptions went smoothly. There is a detailed application and a home inspection that help protect these animals and find them good forever homes. I adopted both of my dogs as adults. They both have very sad histories. One was chained up in the backyard 24/7 for over 3 years. The other was in a junkyard for over a year were he was underfed and abused by a male until he escaped. They both also lived at Chain of Hope for over a year to learn how to socialize with people and other dogs. Both dogs will always have “quirks” but I expected that. More importantly they both are happy and loving dogs now.
