Review for Center for Biological Diversity Inc, Tucson, AZ, USA

Rating: 5 stars

The utilization of lawsuits by the Center for Biological Diversity is a very effective strategy to protect as many species as practically possible using our current legal system. I find their e-mails wonderfully informative but succinct, which allows me to be knowledgeable on the plight of many animals and plants regardless of my busy schedule. This charity is par non one of the best out there. Support them to protect the wildlife and our own well being.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Make this charity more visible to the general public.

Review for Center for Biological Diversity Inc, Tucson, AZ, USA

Rating: 5 stars

The Center for Biological Diversity has developed effective plans, legal actions and advocacy programs to defend and protect the most vulnerable creatures from rapacious corporations, noneffective government policies and frankly plain human ignorance.
The Center always stands for the best policies and actions to protect all of the endangered species that live in our land. They are one of the few organizations that have the valor to speak the truth about the clear and present danger of overpopulation, regardless of the popularity, or lack thereof, of this issue.
The newsletter from this center is an amazing source of information and conveys, in a very accessible format, the urgency and the severity of the challenges faced by our environment.
If all private and public entities would perform with the civility, fairness, intelligence, and love for their labor, as the Center for Biological Diversity continuously demonstrates in everything they do, then our planet would have a chance to become a healthy, beautiful and equitable place for all living things.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

Protecting our Desert Tortoise, from ranchers illegally grazing cattle in the Nevada Desert. Condemning, and challenging, the shameless green washing of Nevada Power's proposed wind farm in a ecologically sensitive area close to the Great Basin National Park, which will imperil the Sage Grouse and the migratory travels of 3 million bats.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Bring forth the importance of their work to the Hispanic communities in Nevada.

Role:  General Member of the Public & Advocate for the careful consideration of personal decisions with my family and friends.
