Review for Hand in Hand Parenting, San Francisco, CA, USA
Hand in Hand Parenting changed my parenting for the better and altered the course of my professional life. The ripples of goodness, kindness and intelligence imbedded within this approach flow out into a distressed world in support of parents and families everywhere.
Parents receive direct support for themselves and for hard work of parenting, so they can better attend to challenging moments with their children. Subsequently, children have an expanded capacity to care about how they feel, while also caring about how others feel.
This is what we want isn't it? People who are self aware and who also have compassion for others, the ability to tolerate frustration, and the capacity to listen and contribute to the growth of their community.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
funnel more money directly to it, so that 1-teachers, and professionals in medical and psychological fields could direct their families to Hand in Hand Parenting trainings and 2-to advance the research they are curently conducting to establish it as an evidence based approach to parenting.
