Having been with Foster Village in some capacity since it was a spark in the founders’ hearts, I am beyond blessed to see the vision become reality so quickly. Despite many existing nonprofits helping foster children and/or families in some capacity, Foster Village recognized a critical missing perspective. The model of wrap-around support and the three pillars of Equip-Connect-Advocate resonated so strongly that Foster Village has 8 affiliates in 4 states in just 5 years. Notably, a neighbor volunteered to me that Foster Village has provided critical support to her, equipping her to open her home to her second foster child.
