My wife adopted our African Grey parrot from here and also volunteers. She loves it so much sometimes I worry she might just set up camp and live there. The volunteers are friendly and knowledgeable. When we adopted Samba the process was thorough and they want you to spend time with the birds before you can adopt them, which I think is great because parrots are not for the faint of heart. There are a lot of birds here who need good homes.
