I adopted my dog, Bree, from MatchDog Rescue. The whole adoption process was truly amazing. Bree was saved by MDR from a high kill shelter in Texas. She was terrified and cowered in the corner at the shelter. Seeing the pictures broke my heart. It was so exciting when the transport was on the way to New Jersey from Texas with the dogs and we were able to keep informed with their journey. The day of transport is a day I will always remember. Holding Bree for the first time and seeing all the dogs that were saved brought tears to my eyes. The volunteers have the biggest hearts, so full of love for these dogs. They work tirelessly from beginning to end to find these dogs their perfect match. MDR has made our hearts SO happy. I will forever be thankful to MDR for saving Bree and bringing her into my life.
