This is an orphanage in Uganda started by Betty Bengo, a remarkable woman and Ugandan immigrant to the US. She's devoted her life to helping the children in her home nation. The Malaika home rescues them from genuinely tragic conditions. Your donations literally save the lives of these children. I live in Texas but support this Florida rescue because, like my wife and me, they help the special needs birds: the disabled and abused parrots that have no reason to trust humans, but blossom when finally shown the love and care they deserve. Of course, that means their vet bills are even higher than the average rescue's. So they really deserve and need your support.
