Review for The Jonah Project, El Segundo, CA, USA
I came down last summer with my youth ministry and we absolutely loved serving along side the Jonah Project. They were very organized and had something for every volunteer to help out with. It was a great experience to help the less fortunate in L.A.'s Skid Row; to be able to pray with them, feed them, build relationship with them, clean up the area, clothe them, and to grow as an individual because of the hope that the people in that area had, even though their life styles look hard and miserable to us. The Jonah Project is making a huge difference in that community day and night, providing hope, warmth, and food to a hurting people.

Personally experience the results of this organization would be more of the students in my youth ministry becoming aware of the poverty that exists across the street from them. That life is not easy for 98% of the population, and that they, the students, have it made. It was great to see the students grow as individuals and to have a better appreciation of the blessings in their lives.

I would not make any changes. They just need all the help and support they can get!
