We found about Sterling through Subaru- I brought my car in for service and an employee had their dog there. I mentioned we were looking for a dog, and they recommended Sterling to me. Subaru is known to support animal rescues.

I started to lean in and learn about the compassionate, tireless work that this shelter does and I knew this was the shelter I would fight to adopt from. Through all our interactions, it's been clear they put the animals' needs before the humans, and are very assertive yet respectful in doing that.

Since adopting our puppy, they've compelled me over and over again to donate and support them, and I feel a long lasting connecting to Sterling because they helped us find our puppy and they never ever stop doing the same for the other animals they save. There's something to be said about their persistent dedication to animals. I am a better person for interacting with them.
