The Center for Biological Diversity is one of the leaders in this country for taking decisive action to save endangered species. Without their work, hundreds of species would be extinct or going extinct, and corporations would go unchecked in their development and destruction of endangered species habitat.

I was particularly impressed with their work with the oil spill in the Gulf. They were instrumental in uncovering the government collusion before and during the spill, and in being effective watchdogs during the cleanup process.
