My Nonprofit Reviews

Review for Network for Good Inc, Washington, DC, USA
How does Network for Good determine and distribute funds it has raised on social media platforms like Facebook? My experience is that they were terrible. You see, how would you know when or how much your contribution reaches the designated recipient.
I tried a test. Network for Good failed. After an online disclaimer that it takes up to 90 days to receive a donation placed online (already not at all a fast turnaround of funds), I made two online donations 4 days apart in April 2021. These were modest birthday donations to a nonprofit that I am an officer of.
I know when donations come in, and how much. 60-90-120 days and nothing came in from Network for Good. Not a dime. So I called their 888 customer service number. At least 4 phone calls and 6 emails later, I still had no idea where the money was, nor how much, nor why a delay in distribution.
Finally, I found some answers. By phone on the same 888 customer service number, I was told that checks had been issued and mailed. I checked again with the Guidestar listed address of my Treasurer's private home address, and nothing had been recieved.
The check's in the mail...after 120 days. I was not amused, and worse, was concerned about the millions and millions of online donations made, that WERE NOT FOLLOWED UP ON. I found out that after a year of unclaimed distributed funds, Network for Good allocates to a like-missioned charity of their choice!!!
Here's the rub. They let the USPS be the scapegoat, but no evidence of mail received or mail sent was issued. I doubt the good word of the customer service reps, (they're just doing their jobs). I was reissued funds and received them via FedEx. AFTER NUMEROUS INQUIRIES, REQUESTS for PROOF of DELIVERY, and asking repeatedly to get the number of the Washington, DC based nonprofit OFFICE of the PRESIDENT. Nothing doing.
Got a call from a manager, and now, still awaiting any evidence, any oversight, and reporting information about how Network for Good operates. I can't even get a HQ phone number.
I urge everybody reading this to call Network for Good to get substantiation of donations made, donations received. Maybe they have a good track record, but the one and only time I donated, they failed in proper allocation, proper timing, and proper communications.
Even Bernie Madoff, who was revered as a philanthropist for decades, was ultimately exposesd as Ponzi Scammer. While I make no comparison here, I just have to ask, "Who's minding the store?" "How are funds distributed when the first mailing isn't successful", "Why didn't Network for Good attempt to contact my nonprofit by phone or email after the first check was not cashed?"
"Who authorizes and who even knows how N4G distributes millions of "unclaimed" donations to small and medium sized nonprofits, trusting the brand and name "Network for Good".
We all deserve transparency, explanations of process, and a full disclosure of the number of undelivered funds and where they end up.
This is what a small nonprofit must live up to, why not a 501 c 3 estimated to have assets of over 1/2 billion dollars???
