Tickets for Kids is a wonderful organization providing hope and inspiration for low-income and at risk children. An experience attending a ball game, visiting the zoo or a museum can make all the difference for a child to feel included and allow them to see a future for themselves. If they can see it, they can be it. I've been fortunate to attend an event with some children who met Misty Copeland, the first African American woman to be promoted to principal dancer with the American Ballet Theatre. The girls describe their experience as "the best night of their lives" and a moment they will always remember. The girls felt valued and included in a special evening.
